BIOGRAPHY
Brian Harper is the Founder and Managing Partner of 11North Partners. He has nearly three decades of real estate investment and operating experience, including senior leadership roles at publicly traded companies.
Prior to founding 11North, Brian served as President and Chief Executive Officer of RPT Realty( RPT:NYSE), a publicly traded REIT. During his five years leading RPT, he institutionalized the organization, repositioned the portfolio, strengthened the balance sheet, and delivered the largest multiple expansion in the sector before completing the sale of the company in January 2024. Previously, Brian served as Chief Executive Officer of Rouse Properties and held senior leadership positions at GGP and RED Development.
Since founding 11North, Brian has co-led a $1.6 billion capital raise and the deployment of more than $1 billion across high quality open air retail properties throughout the United States, establishing 11North as a scaled institutional investment and operating platform.
Brian serves on the boards of Autism Speaks, where he previously served as Chairman, and The Center for Discovery. He is also a member of YPO, ULI, and ICSC.
Brian earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
