Michael Heldman

Michael has more than five years of retail real estate investment and asset management experience.

He joins 11North from Phillips Edison & Company (NASDAQ: PECO), where he helped lead underwriting on more than $1 billion of grocery-anchored shopping center acquisitions across the U.S. As Manager, Investments, Michael was responsible for investment analysis across the transaction lifecycle, spanning both joint venture and balance sheet strategies. He established the firm’s Investments platform alongside senior leadership and managed a team of analysts.

Prior to this, Michael worked in asset management at DLC Management, a private owner and operator of open-air shopping centers.

Michael graduated cum laude with high honors from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Economics and Urban Studies and received an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University, where he was a Hirsh Fellow.
